MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING POLICY
Policy Statement
Cleanfinity Ltd is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains. Although we are not legally required to report under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to our size, we choose to act in accordance with its principles as a reflection of our core values and ethical standards.
Our Business
Cleanfinity Ltd is a family-run cleaning company operating across the UK, providing professional, reliable, and eco-friendly cleaning services. We work with a range of commercial, residential, and hospitality clients and are committed to operating transparently and with integrity at all levels.
Cleanfinity Limited undertakes reasonable and proportionate steps to assess and mitigate modern slavery risks within its operations and supply chains, recognising that absolute control over thirdparty practices cannot be guaranteed.
Our Supply Chains
Our suppliers provide cleaning materials, uniforms, and equipment. We expect all suppliers to comply with strict standards, including the prohibition of forced labour, child labour, and any form of abuse or coercion. We only work with vendors who can demonstrate alignment with these expectations
Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Our internal Code of Conduct, Procurement Policy, and this statement collectively reinforce our ethical practices. We expect all staff and suppliers to uphold the same high standards.
Due Diligence and Risk Management
We conduct supplier assessments and implement a robust vetting process for contractors. We regularly review supplier compliance and ensure they are not involved in any unethical practices.
Supplier Adherence to Values
Suppliers are required to demonstrate that:
(a) employment is freely chosen,
(b) no child labour is used, and
(c) working conditions meet legal and ethical standards.
Suppliers failing to meet these expectations risk termination of their contracts with Cleanfinity Ltd.
Training and Awareness
Cleanfinity provides training to staff to raise awareness of modern slavery risks. We promote ethical awareness and reinforce responsibilities across our teams. Suppliers are also encouraged to train their staff on the same principles
Reporting Concerns
All Cleanfinity employees are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery. Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly. Whistleblowers are protected under our internal reporting framework.
Performance Measurement
We monitor our practices through internal audits, staff feedback, and supplier reviews. Our KPIs include compliance check rates, issue resolution times, and annual supplier audits.
Approval and Review
This statement has been approved by the Directors of Cleanfinity Ltd and is reviewed annually. It will be updated to reflect best practices and legal developments.
